1958 Chevrolet Turbo-Thrust V8 |

1958 saw the introduction of the big-block. This particular example is the 348 cid Chevrolet Turbo-Thrust V8 rated at 250 horsepower. Also known as a 'W' engine, it was offered with three different carburetor setups. The 250 hp had a single 4 bbl carburetor, and two Super Turbo-Thrust versions of 280 and 315 hp featured Tri-Power.
